Sam Svenson and myself (Justin Brooks-Ward) grew up in Southern Delaware; Southern, of course, is short for Sussex County. The small town community that is synonymous with this area is at the heart of Salty Project ltd. The supportive nature of this grassroots community inspires us to develop Salty Project ltd. A clothing company built around supporting the local community.
Our adolescents was more or less spent annoying Jim and Shelia at Bethany Surf Shop and being taught the ways of the surfing community by the generally rad group that congregated around the shop. Often people ask, "Delaware, you have waves there?". The answer is, "YES, but maybe not as often as we'd like". However, if you're lucky enough to catch the Atlantic coast of Big Sussex County doing it's thing, you're bound to get barreled!
